The Lead Certified Investigator plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) Incident Management Bulletin and Performance-Based Contracting Metrics. In this role, you will oversee a team of investigators, ensuring that all incidents and allegations are thoroughly and objectively investigated. As the team supervisor, you will provide training and guidance to your team while also conducting investigations yourself. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and humility.

What you’ll bring:
- Strong leadership acumen.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal.
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and related technology.
- A commitment to handling sensitive information with discretion and care.
- An associate’s degree in criminal justice or a related field with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Experience in the intellectual/developmental disabilities field (preferred).
- Current ODP Certified Investigator certification or the ability to obtain certification within three months of hire.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pre-hire Clearances: State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years).
- Supervising and mentoring a team of Certified Investigators, providing guidance and oversight on casework.
- Conducting investigations in alignment with ODP guidelines and Performance-Based Contracting Metrics.
- Maintaining Certified Investigator certification and access to the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) system.
- Completing investigation packets and documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
- Providing initial investigation interviews to the Administrative Review team promptly.
- Attending meetings and completing required training.
- Handling all investigations with professionalism, care, and a person-centered approach.
