What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist - ADOS position at Barber National Institute?
We are looking for a part time Licensed Mental Health Therapist that is able to conduct comprehensive diagnostic testing to children and adolescents.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) testing to children and adolescents to determine a diagnosis of Autism by assessing communication skills, social interactions, and imaginative use of materials.
- Conduct a comprehensive clinical mental health intake utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and surveys, including the PHQ-9, C-SSRS, and a Biopsychosocial assessment.
- Conduct structured interviews with clients and their parent / caregiver to assess deficits in social communication / interaction, nonverbal communication, and / or the ability to maintain relationships.
- Be trained in providing ADOS testing.
- Be knowledgeable about behavioral health services and resources.
