Role and Expectations:

BN is looking for a dedicated and experienced Advanced CNC Operator for our night shift operations. Your expertise in machining will be integral to our success.

Primary Duties:

• Operate and configure manual tooling to aid CNC processes.
• Execute tasks on CNC machines including 2-axis and multi-axis setups.
• Organize and manage material logistics.
• Evaluate tool needs and maintain supply efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Achievement:

• A High School diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary.

Hands-on Experience:

• At least 12 years of experience in machine tooling operations within a prototype/job shop setup, with a strong grasp of ISO/AS/MIL standards and corresponding technical documentation.

Overtime availability is essential.

ITAR Requirements:

To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at Barber-Nichols must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e., current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1157-1158.Security clearance is required for this position

Competitive Compensation:

Starting hourly earnings range from $35 to $45, with a 15% night shift premium and enhanced overtime rates post 40 hours weekly. Salaries are based on individual qualifications and may vary based on circumstance.
