Job Description:
Perform a variety of clerical work including, but not limited to, record keeping, dispatching, general transportation office tasks, timesheet reconciliation, and other related duties as assigned. Assist the Director of Transportation, Assistant Director of Transportation, Routing Managers, Bus Drivers, and Bus Aides in the timely and safe arrival of students to and from school.
Days: 218 Days
Salary:
Minimum: $16.14/hour
Salary offered will be based on related experience
Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills, keyboarding and file maintenance skills
- Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use to develop spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
- Experience with routing software preferred
- Knowledge of school transportation operations
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
- Ability to work well with staff and the public
