We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber……The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a flair for providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all clients.

Duties

• Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, and shaves using various techniques such as straight razor shaving.
• Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences, offering expert advice on styles and products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
• Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, hair care, and grooming techniques.
• Perform additional services such as makeup application and nail care as needed or requested by clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients with color-related services.

Skills

• Proficient in barbering techniques with hands-on experience in haircutting and grooming.
• Familiarity with MINDBODY software for managing appointments and client records.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Knowledge of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
• Understanding of cosmetology principles that enhance overall service offerings.
• Ability to apply color theory effectively in hair coloring services.
• Experience with straight razor techniques for precision shaving.
• Skills in nail care to provide comprehensive grooming services.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
