What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Sous Chef position at Barbuzzo?
Barbuzzo Restaurant is accepting resumes for Executive Sous Chef for our well known restaurant in Center City, Philadelphia. We are looking for a passionate & creative Chef who can bring their love of Mediterranean cuisine (including house made/extruded pasta, wood fired cooking, Neapolitan style pizza) to Barbuzzo and complement our rustic menu. Candidate will be able to work with our Executive Chef Culinary Director for training of the existing operation. Our team works very hard in a busy, fast paced, positive environment. We are looking for a Sous chef who can learn and grow with us.
You must be Serv Safe Certified in PA!
Schedule would be two opening shifts as AM Chef (7-4) and three pm shifts, you MUST have open availability!

Ideal candidate will:
* have 3-5 years previous experience as Sous Chef in a similar, fast paced restaurant.
* possess solid leadership of the Barbuzzo restaurant culinary operation in absence of Exec Chef
* have a positive presence throughout the restaurant.
* be able to manage kitchen staff effectively & delegate responsibilities to the team
* communicate job expectations & manage employee performance.
* monitor food cost, labor cost & inventory.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
