BARC Developmental Services is a not-for-profit agency serving Bucks County Pennsylvania individuals and families since 1951. BARC Developmental Services is currently hiring for the position of Residential Home Managers located in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The Home Manager monitors all aspects of a home for adults with developmental disabilities. This includes planning, documentation, direct care and staff supervision. The house manager provides direction and leadership in activities of daily living, self-help and social skills for our supported individuals. Develops program plans for each individual in the home; carries out program plans and documents progress; counsels' residents during periods of personal difficulty. Schedules and supervises staff; participates in staff selection and evaluation; plans, participates in and supervises leisure activities; ensures safe living environments; monitors petty cash; participates as team member in planning for and meeting individual's needs.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HOME MANAGER POSITION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year previous experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
- Valid PA driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Physically able to perform essential functions of position.
- Willing and comfortable in assisting with personal care activities.
The Home Manager works a combination of daytime and evening hours with alternating weekends. The salary for House Manager ranges from $20.95 to $22.12 per hour depending on experience, with additional hourly incentive pay.
