About the Role: Behavior Companion (Barc Housing)
- Provides a stimulating, safe and healthy learning environment as a one-to-one companion for a particular participant.
- Implements treatment plans as prescribed by Behavior Analyst
- Monitors program implementation and provides feedback related to implementation proficiencies.
- Models program implementation, when appropriate, for other direct support staff.
- Collects data and monitors data collection for accuracy.
- Partners with the behavior analyst and provides feedback regarding client performance.
- Acts as lead staff during behavioral interventions.
- Coordinates and facilitates community activities for the client.

What are the requirements?
- High School Diploma and some college coursework.
- Valid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
- Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior experience providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities required.
- ABA 20 hour certification preferred, Required within first 3 months of employment
- Registered Behavior Technician preferred.
