Description
As a Certifier Floater, your primary responsibility is to ensure the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing products and orders within the organization. You will be tasked with certifying that products align with documentation requirements, conducting quality checks, documenting discrepancies, and communicating effectively with all departments. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory management tasks such as conducting daily cycle counts, participating in physical inventory counts, and certifying customer returns.
- Certify the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing products and orders, ensuring alignment with documentation (labels, lot codes, expiration dates, quantities, and LPNs).
- Conduct a quality check ensuring product is arriving our departing with no damages to packaging, and pallets are in great condition.
- Document and report any discrepancies or damages in inventory files and to the inventory supervisors.
- Professional communication to all departments.
- Ensure inbound or outbound orders are accurately processed in WMS.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct cycle counts daily to meet individual weekly metric goal.
- Mandatory participation in physical inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Certify customer returns, verifying product quality, quantities, and expiration dates. As well as communicating any and all returns to the inventory supervisor and inventory analyst.
- Ensure proper identification of all items by verifying the LPN and WMS.
- Ensure all product is located accurately in a physical location corresponding to the systematic location in WMS.
- Verify and follow up on the inventory hold list and update product status as confirmation of release is documented.
Material Handling & Processing:
- Verify damage product is located in the repack area and follow up on repairable and sellable damaged products and return them to inventory.
- Certify the destruction process for damaged or obsolete products making sure process is being followed while documenting all movements.
- Validate and process waste reports, by validating the waste weight and addressing any discrepancies.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records and files for all receipts and shipments as well as all inventory movements.
- Photograph all issues and discrepancies for validation and documentation purposes and to help communicate to all areas.
Safety & Maintenance:
- Identify and report all safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Perform and Complete all other duties assigned by your supervisor or management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Diploma High School
- Forklift Certification (Sit down and stand up forklift)
- 6 months as a Fork Lift Operator
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Flexible schedule and shift (day or night), including weekends

Must be available to cover the shifts assigned during the week in order to have a 24/7 operation

Inventory management experience

Able to lift and maneuver cases over 20lbs occasionally

Able to perform basic math

Read and write English

WMS experience preferred but not required

Oracle experience preferred but not required

Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook
