What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning Analyst position at Barcelona Wine Bar?
JOB SUMMARY
The FP&A Analyst for Barcelona Wine Bar will assist with the daily functions of the FP&A Department, and various other Finance related tasks. The FP&A Analyst will work across departments to prepare and enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities. The FP&A Analyst will leverage a thorough understanding of both company systems and business drivers to help the company track variances and assist management in strategic decision-making. This position will report to the FP&A Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Gather data to prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Ensure data accuracy across multiple systems.
- Analyze key metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas to focus on.
- Develop new reports and dashboards as business needs change.
- Collaborate effectively across departments.
- Assist in the development of yearly budgets.
- Support in the integration of new systems/platforms.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field is required.
- A minimum of two years of FP&A experience is preferred, but not required.
- Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.
