As a Barclays AML PEP QC Analyst, you will be accountable for reviewing transactional activity generated by the Transaction Monitoring systems or any manual referrals made to the AML Operations team and perform an AML investigation in adherence to the “Standard Investigation Protocol.” You will also be testing Suspicious Activity Reports being filed by AML Ops-Barclays Bank Delaware are in adherence to State and Federal regulatory compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC.

What will you be doing?
• Testing AML alerts closed by AML Operations
• Providing insightful and objective observations based on the testing performed
• Reviewing SARs filed by Barclays Bank Delaware to ensure they consistently meet Bank Secrecy Act requirements and regulator expectations
• Providing regular feedback relating to quality assurance reviews to QA AML Management for AML Management to continue providing guidance to AML Investigators
• Conducting trend analysis on AML errors to include deficiencies in the investigations, SAR reporting, training opportunities, but also regarding suspicious activity
• Assisting in implementation of AML/BSA detection and prevention methods, such as training and instruction manuals
• Assisting with departmental tracking and reporting
• Supporting any special projects or critical casework
What we’re looking for:
• Five or more years of credit card or banking experience with a focus on BSA / AML and OFAC regulations
• Results driven with a commitment to continuous process improvement and quality along with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Attention to detail, understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Compliance, Audit, Risk, Fraud, or related experience a plus
• ACAMS Certification preferred
