The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction or rebar fabrication industry and be proficient in various administrative tasks, from inventory management to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Entry: Accurately enter orders into our system, ensuring all details are correct.
- Inventory Management: Systematically receive, balance, and maintain inventory records. Take the lead on scheduled inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Purchasing: Handle purchasing activities, including placing orders and managing vendor relationships.
- Data Entry: Enter data related to orders, inventory, and other relevant information into our systems.
- Sales & Customer Service: Assist with sales inquiries, provide customer support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage schedules for deliveries, meetings, and other company activities.
- Communication: Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle other clerical duties as needed.
- Clerical Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, document management, and office organization.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction and rebar fabrication processes.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with ASA and Foundations programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory receiving, balancing, and maintaining processes.
- Purchasing & Data Entry: Experience in purchasing and order entry with attention to detail.
- Sales & Customer Service: Ability to assist with sales activities and provide excellent customer service.
- Scheduling & Communication: Strong skills in scheduling, answering phones, and responding to emails.
