Job Description
This is a weekend Shift - 12 hour, 3 day week schedule Friday-Sunday 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM(work 36, Paid 40).
The Fabrication Team Leader is responsible for assisting department supervisors with training, motivating and managing production personnel and daily reporting for production and inventories. In addition, the team leader will support goals in Safety, Quality, & Customer Service. Additionally, the team leader will act as a backup to all assembly line positions and department supervisor.
The successful candidate will be required to pass all applicable testing.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist with the coordination of daily production requirements.
- Prepares paperwork and reports as needed.
- Notifies Supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions and employee issues.
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations to ensure that safety rules and procedures are strictly followed.
- Provides training, technical expertise and coaching to department employees as needed.
- Reviews material and production requirements needed to meet daily production requirements.
- Provides hands on assistance and works in a production capacity as needed or as available.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
