3D Animator - Feature Animation (Vancouver)

Requirements

A day in the life of a 3D Animator at Bardel involves managing multiple tasks assigned by production. You will communicate closely with your team, attend daily meetings for feedback or approvals, and work towards completing your deadlines.

• You Ensure Client Satisfaction: You are responsive to client requests and have an eye for interpreting feedback

At Bardel, we believe in an open and honest environment. Here s how your application will be evaluated:

• We are working on a feature animated film, so having experience working at a high-quality level is important. Feature Animation experience will be given priority.
• Your demo reel needs to demonstrate a high-level of polish, strong character acting (comedy, subtle). Experience with quadrupeds and stylized acting is a bonus.

If you are invited to an interview, we will ask you to share experiences about the following:

• Your experience with Maya is a must have, but also, your ability to adapt to new tools and working methods
• In our hybrid studio, we seamlessly blend remote and in-person work, so your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams is essential
• We are creating the Directors vision, so you ll need to be able to receive creative direction and feedback
• We work as a team, so you will be encouraged to share your knowledge and experience with others whenever possible

Benefits

Pay Range: CAD $1600 - $2100 per week

This salary range provided reflects our current expectations for these roles as of this posting s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including your education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical location, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
