As the Liquor Store Clerk, you will be an essential part of our liquor store operations, ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. In this role, you will assist customers with selecting and purchasing our exclusive line of distilled products and merchandise, operate the point-of-sale system, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
General Responsibilities
Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them select products and answering questions about our distillery's offerings.
Observes customers, checks identification for proof-of-age and denies service to underage or intoxicated customers
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain proper inventory levels
Keep the store clean and organized, performing regular cleaning and maintaining a welcoming environment
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient store operations
Requirements
Job Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience :
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Excellent oral communication skills are required.
Positive interpersonal skills are required.
Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
License / Qualifications :
Must be 19 years of age to sell liquor per Idaho Code;
ServSafe alcohol certification (or equivalent)
Idaho State Police Alcohol Awareness Training

Physical Requirements :
Ability to speak and hear.
Close and distance vision.
Frequent standing for the duration of the shift.
Frequently lifts / carries up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally lifts / carries up to 50 lbs.
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
