RBT/ ABA Therapist
In 2017, Bardin Behavioral Health began providing the midlands of South Carolina with ABA therapy. Our mission is to provide quality, evidence-based treatment to individuals with autism. We attribute our effectiveness to our unwavering adherence to professional ethics, individualized treatment packages based on functional behavior assessments, and coordination of care with providers in other specialties that are part of our clients’ treatment team.
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays an integral role in tiered delivery of ABA therapy. The RBT implements the treatment plan written by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), records data on the programs in the treatment plan, updates graphs, and writes daily session notes. Of importance, at Bardin Behavioral Health, RBTs are part of the treatment team for their clients and provide the family and BCBA with updates about progress through treatment goals, efficacy of programs, and assist with efforts to coordinate care with other professionals.
Position Summary: Interested applicants should:
- Possess a driver’s license in good standing
- Have current First Aid/BLS Certification
- Clear a criminal background check
- 2 years of college (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Be certified as a Registered Behavior Technician with the BACB, or be willing to complete the RBT requirements.
- Have excellent written and oral Communication Skills
- Have the ability to lift or move 50 pounds and climb a flight of stairs.
This position is part-time (10-20 hours/ week)
Applicants should expect a work schedule within the hours of 9 am-6 pm Monday-Saturday
