We are seeking a Training Manager at Hotel Bardo Savannah , who will play a crucial role in shaping our learning strategy . This person is a dynamic leader, passionate about delivering exceptional service, and committed to driving brand experience and guest satisfaction through impactful training and development.
Responsibilities
- Supports consistent service excellence by ensuring team members receive effective training, aligning with brand standards and expectations through the development of training initiatives, service breakdowns, and analysis of service trends.
- Delivers the New Hire and New Leader Orientation program to ensure all new hires are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive during their 90-day onboarding journey.
- Oversees the Certified Departmental Trainer Program, ensuring departmental trainers are well-prepared to guide and mentor team members.
- Collaborates with hotel leadership to identify performance gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions to enhance individual and team effectiveness.
- Manages all compliance and safety training requirements, ensuring timely and complete participation in all mandatory courses.
- Supports managers in crafting impactful development plans that emphasize hands-on, experience-based learning.
- Develops and maintains the annual training and development budget, ensuring all programs and resources are aligned with organizational goals.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a training position required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of LMS and e-learning platforms
- Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality
- University degree or equivalent experience
