PHARMACY TECHNICIAN * PART-TIME and FULL-TIME * IN FOLSOM

Bare Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an on-site pharmacy technician who embraces a patient-centered approach to service. Bidwell Street, our pharmacy offers a cozy work atmosphere that values teamwork and individual initiative.

Job Responsibilities:

- Filling and typing prescriptions

- Labeling prescriptions and data entry

- Taking calls from patients and health providers, authorizing refills and relaying information to the pharmacist

- Compounding prescriptions in the laboratory as needed

- Entering and retrieving customer/prescription information into database

- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, tendering sales, cleaning

- Communicating with customers in a friendly and approachable manner and directing them to the pharmacist

- Processing shipments and electronic orders

- Responding to emails and phone recordings

Requirements:

- Pharmacy Technician Certification license

- Must be able to work pharmacy hours Monday through Friday; we are open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

- Facility with learning new computer programs and systems

- Aptitude with fast and accurate math calculations

- Previous compounding experience preferred

- Ability to multitask in fast-paced situations

- Passionate about the well-being and health of the community and our customers

* Ability to pick up on computer systems quickly

* Types over 60 words per minute
