We are seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team in Forest Lake, MN. As our brand continues to grow, we need a creative and detail-oriented individual who can help us connect with our customers through compelling social media content and engagement. This on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic marketing team while developing your skills across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage daily content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok)

Execute email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo

Monitor and engage with audience across all social platforms

Create and maintain content calendar for social media posts

Write and publish blog content for company website

Track and report on social media metrics and campaign performance

Assist in developing and maintaining brand voice across platforms

Respond to customer inquiries on social media

Support influencer outreach initiatives

Participate in marketing team meetings and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field

1-2 years of experience in social media management or content creation

Must-Have Skills:

Proficient in major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok)

Proficient in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar)

Intermediate knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media platform analytics)

Proficient in content creation tools (Canva or similar)

Expert level written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo or similar)

Preferred Skills:

Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

Familiar with SEO tools

Basic knowledge of influencer marketing platforms

Intermediate video editing skills

Familiar with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com)

Basic knowledge of WordPress/Shopify

Intermediate experience with A/B testing
