Well established Spa located near Empire State building is looking for new P/T or F/T CAPABLE Front Desk Receptionists.
Front desk receptionist is the first point of contact, via telephone and in person. First impressions are lasting and reflect the entire spa. Therefore, our Spa Associates are expected to be extremely influential in manners, appearance, knowledge, and helpfulness. Our spa is a fast-paced environment. The receptionist must be mobile and always present throughout the spa. There will be a training period, details will be discussed during the interview.

DAILY DUTIES:
- Promote and model spa mission through appropriate appearance, words, and actions
- Absolute capability to work with others in order to build a strong team environment
- Superior communication and telephone etiquette
- Ability to schedule appointments accordingly
- Ensure front desk is neat and orderly at all times
- Computer proficient (Experience with MindBody, Booker Spa Software or related is a plus!)
- Execute the daily operational tasks, day-to-day goals, and priorities assigned by management
- Detailed knowledge of menu of services and pricing
- Passionate about selling; engage in opportunities that positively impact the member experience - effectively communicate
sales promotions, memberships, services and upgrade options
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in challenging circumstances
- Must be reliable and punctual
REQUIREMENTS:
High school deploma or currently enrolled in a college degree.
Previous reception experience or work in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
Salon experience and knowledge of Booker or other spa booking software is a PLUS!
Must be fluent in English.
Bilingual in Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus
