Job Summary
The Pre-Construction CAD Tech is responsible for preparing detailed and accurate CAD drawings, layouts, and design documents to support the estimating and pre-construction phases of projects. This role works closely with estimators- Field Project Managers, and clients to ensure plans meet project specifications, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and produce detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for pre-construction plans, layout, and conceptual designs.
Interpret architectural, structural, civil drawings to create accurate project models.
Coordinate with the estimator to ensure drawings align with project budgets and scope.
Identify potential design issue and assist with value engineering efforts.
Update drawings and documents as project changes occur during the pre-con phase.
Assist in preparing visual presentations for internal teams and clients.
Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and related documentations.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and company standards.
Qualifications
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D-3D) Revit or BIM knowledge is a plus.
Associate's degree in drafting, Engineering Technology, construction, or related field preferred.
2 years of CAD drafting experience in Construction or design industry.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay Rate:
Depend of experience.

7am to 3:30pm
