Driver/ Transporter
Certified CNA preferred, if not, we can certify you!
This position provides transportation services for residents of Rehab Select to and from medical appointments. These services are provided by licensed personnel with a good driving record vs verified through license verification, insurance verification and Motor Vehicle Driving Records.
Essential Duties and Functions:
1. Maintain personal and passenger safety at all times.
2. Follow laws, Rules and Guidelines to insure safety.
3. On-board, off-load and transfer residents to medical appointments as scheduled in a safe and helpful manner
4. Insure self and passengers are using seatbelts per manufacturer guidelines.
5. Prior to transport check seatbelts, cleaning/sanitizing supplies and complete the pre-operation checklist
6. Complies with Alabama Law for no texting while driving
7. Maintain a safe driving record while transporting residents to appointments. All traffic citations must be reported to the supervisor.
8. Will be required to attend the Certified Nursing Assistant training.
