What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Loader/Unloader position at Bargain City Superstore?
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Loader/Unloader to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently load and unload materials and products, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our customers. This is a physically demanding position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to operate equipment. You will also be tasked with moving other merchandise throughout the store, helping stock shelves and help to keep the store clean and shoppable.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials and products from trucks, trailers, or containers
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate products
- Pick orders accurately and prepare them for shipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Proficient in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Strong materials handling skills, including the ability to lift heavy objects *250LBS WITH DOLLY
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and product handling
