Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a box truck, tractor-trailer, or van
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and log delivery information
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
