Job Purpose: This position ensures excellence in SAP financial purchase requisition management for various business teams/areas ensuring accurate coding, proper approvals, timely processing and overall compliance with Barilla's purchasing policy and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Work effectively with designated business teams and/or Procurement Managers/Buyers to ensure alignment on procurement needs
- Support the end-to-end purchase requisition process, including:
- Gathering all necessary data for purchase requisitions.
- Creating purchase requisitions in SAP.
- Verifying that all required data is accurately provided.
- Securing necessary approvals in a timely manner.
- Maintaining purchasing records, including entry sheets, as assigned.
- Assisting with the submission of invoices to the Delivery Center
- Support Buyers with new vendor setup
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
- Work with cross-functional team to resolve issues
- Coordinate invoice status inquiries with accounts payable team to ensure accurate processing
- Backfill responsibilities
Requires highly accurate data entry, strong attention to detail & deadlines, high level of proficiency working with enterprise financial applications, specifically SAP
Additional Information:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable and workflow environment
- SAP experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
- Strong capability to work in teams and build good working relationships
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,)

Target compensation $55,000 - $60,000
