Job description

The Office Coordinator manages a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. An integral part in ensuring that the office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities, the office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Greet visitors and clients as they arrive and depart all Elevate locations.
  • Verify patient identity, financial, demographic and insurance information.
  • Direct patient to complete and review forms.
  • Obtain patient/responsible party signatures.
  • Accept and record patient cost share payments.
  • Maintain visitor sign in.
  • Maintain clean and tidy waiting room/lobby area.
  • Verify vendor appointments.
  • Act as a resource for facility visitors and physicians.
  • Answer incoming calls to the facility. Relay information in accurate, concise manner.
  • Intercept faxes and distribute to appropriate department.
  • Maintain patient privacy per HIPAA regulations.
  • Any additional functions assigned by the Director of Operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
