Barings is seeking an Investment Content Creator/Writer to join its Global Marketing team. This individual will support the creation of investment-related content—from written pieces, videos and podcasts to quarterly commentaries and engaging social media posts. The goal is to become a true content specialist, helping Barings’ investment teams tell their stories and express their views across a variety of platforms. In addition to managing projects and influencing the direction of content, this person will work with the broader marketing team to launch new, innovative ways to communicate with external audiences.

In addition to managing projects and influencing the direction of content, this person will work with the broader marketing team to launch new, innovative ways to communicate with external audiences.
Primary Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Support the creation of investment-related content for external audiences including insurance companies, pension funds, and consultants across a variety of formats including videos, podcasts, social media posts, and written viewpoints articles
- Become highly knowledgeable across multiple asset classes, working closely with portfolio managers and product specialists to express ideas effectively and to a variety of external audiences
- Work closely with investment teams, sales, compliance, design, web development and other key stakeholders across the U.S., Europe and Asia to guide content from the idea stage to the finished product
- Strong project management experience with excellent time-management, multi-tasking and organization skills
- 1 to 5 years of experience in the asset management or financial services industry, including exposure to and knowledge of Fixed Income, Real Estate and/or Alternatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or Finance/Economics strongly preferred
- Professional-quality writing skills (3 samples required), and strong verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and a high level of professionalism, with the ability to work with multiple teams across the organization
- Attention to detail/accuracy-oriented
- Self-motivated, hard worker and eager to learn
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, and AI more broadly, is a plus
