Job Requirements:
- Part Time to begin and potential to move into Full Time
- Creates a welcoming environment when greeting clients and their dogs
- Schedules and maintains reservations for boarding, daycare, and grooming clients
- Answer phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate with staff and clients regarding pets in our care
- Accept payments and cash handling
- Keep a clean and organized work area and lobby
- Must love cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Comfortable learning kennel tech position
- General cleaning duties
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
Skills and Qualifications:
- Highly proficient in time management during high volume times
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Works well with others
- Takes direction well
- compassionate towards animals; dogs and cats
- proficient computer skills
- Mentoring/ training opportunity available.
- Prior customer service experience of one year is preferred
