As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of the animals in your care. Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets.
• Assess the condition of each animal's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Handle animals with care, using proper restraint techniques to ensure their safety during grooming.
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any concerns observed during the grooming process.
• Provide basic animal care, including monitoring health conditions and reporting any issues to management.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal care is preferred.
• Strong skills in dog handling, animal restraint, and general animal care.
• Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
• Certification in pet grooming or related qualifications is a plus but not mandatory.
