Dog Bather

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and dry pets using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Brush and comb fur to remove tangles and mats, ensuring a neat appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools to ensure a safe environment.
• Handle pets gently and effectively, utilizing animal restraint techniques as necessary.
• Communicate with pet owners about their pets' needs and any observations regarding their health or behavior.
• Assist in the overall care of animals in the facility, including feeding, walking, and monitoring their behavior.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming or animal care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
