Assistant Teacher, Lower School
Barkai Yeshivah is seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our Lower School team. Our Lower School program is designed to inspire a love for learning, encourage curiosity, and foster the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. The Assistant Teacher will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons while providing individualized support to students.
The Assistant Teacher will play an integral role in classroom management, student support, and the implementation of lesson plans. This role includes assisting with small group instruction, reinforcing learning objectives, and supporting students in building strong academic and social skills. The Assistant Teacher will collaborate closely with the teaching team to meet the needs of each student and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The position reports to the Lower School Director. We are seeking a passionate, patient, and dedicated educator who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to helping young learners succeed.
