The SVP drives growth across the spectrum for brands and leads an entire strategy column.
You are one of the leaders of strategy at BarkleyOKRP, providing a clear voice to clients, the agency, and team. You flex effectively between managing teams and leading projects, pitches, and agency culture.
You oversee the growth of a column, you hold a high degree of trust with agency and client c-suite and you ensure the highest quality performance, employee satisfaction, and retention. You model a high bar and keep it up.
The SVP must optimize our strategy offering, building new project specialties, implementing the art and science of strategy, and be dogged about getting to the best integrated ideas.
You autonomously lead project and new business efforts and must be both a consultant and creative catalyst for C-level clients, translating the work back to teams, leading to short-term and long-term growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of clients, a full column, lead new business, and project work
- Manage, guide and foster growth for team members within a column of accounts
- Consulting and leading side-by-side with lead column members as needed to ensure insights, strategy and collaboration
- Driving proactive opportunity across the spectrum for each of their brands.
- Recommending proactive business strategy and transformation to a client.
- Firmly solidify a specialty (XD, Org Culture, Sustainability, Comms Planning, Innovation)
- Partner with SVPs to offer expert, unbiased consultation on any and all strategy work
- Oversees methodology and proposals for project work in tandem with department heads
- Setting a high bar for all strategic output that has both rigor narrative, a business case and powerful, inspirational ideas
- Leading execution for areas for modern consumer expertise
- Partnering with creative, media, and design leads to keep our diversity of work output across the agency
