What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at BARKMAN HONEY, LLC?
Serves as a critical layer of defense in our quest to ensure that all product packaged by Barkman Honey meets customer specifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You conduct inspections of product in packaging and audits of drums staged at ovens to verify that customer specifications are being met.
- You review, scan, and index (store) quality records as directed.
- You support compliance activities related to audits, documentation, record keeping and non-conformance investigation.
- You perform product grading, testing and sensory analysis (including honey tasting), quickly and accurately.
- You monitor the production environment and critical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant.
- You do your part to keep the lab clean, orderly, and stocked with supplies.
