Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Dog Trainer to join our team. Duties
- Implement training programs tailored to individual dogs and their specific needs.
- Assess each dog's behavior and progress, adjusting training methods as necessary.
- Educate dog owners on proper handling techniques, training methods, and care practices.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment for both dogs and clients.
- Follow a specific schedule as assigned by the lead trainers.
- Report to lead trainers at the end of each shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in dog training or a related field such as kennel work, equine handling, or veterinary assistance is required.
- Strong skills in dog handling and animal behavior are essential.
- Familiarity with various training techniques and methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., moving equipment or assisting larger dogs).
