What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Member Service Representative position at Barksdale Federal Credit Union?
Summary:
As a head bank teller, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential financial services. Responsible for implementing existing policies, procedures, and systems involving cashiering operations and member service functions. Coordinates, directs, and assigns work. Answers Member Service Representatives questions, resolves more complex problems, and oversees balancing. Responsible for smooth flow of teller lines, adequate window coverage, and general training of Member Service Representatives. Oversees provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Ensures members are promptly and professionally served. Acts as a Member Service Representative as needed and actively cross sells BFCU services.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union.
- A thorough knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.
