SUMMARY
The Shipping Clerk position requires repetitive work to package our product into boxes to be shipped to our customers. This position requires a high attention to detail in order to ensure that the product matches the packaging slip.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Matching product with packaging slips.
- Packing product in boxes securely.
- Work efficiently with the team.
- Ensure that customer specific requirements are met.
- Support a proactive safety environment with emphasis on lean techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes and procedures.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, reach, lift, and twist up to 70 pounds unassisted.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in shipping/receiving and order picking/packing operations and working in the manufacturing industry preferred. Previous 5S and lean manufacturing experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/warehouse environment. Working may require flexible hours with some evening and weekend work.
