Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for & understanding of mixology, as well as providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar operations, maintaining beverage inventory/cost margins, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests; as well as keeping a presence on the dining floor during management shifts.
Duties
- Lead shifts from the front when on the floor as management, and lead by example when behind the bar.
- Create, prepare, and serve a variety of unique or interesting alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages according to your recipes; then teach staff how to do the same as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels and cost margins, as well as the ordering of spirits/supplies weekly as needed.
- Receive beverage deliveries and ensure their accuracy/completeness each week.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, offering recommendations, and handling issues/guests if a problem were to arise.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable/expedite food at the pass when needed.
- Train and supervise junior staff members to uphold service standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in planning and executing special events or banquets as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry as a bartender/manager is required.
- Knowledge of food service management principles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in supervising staff or training new employees is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.
- A background in Irish Pubs or fast-paced, high-volume services is an advantage but not required.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
