Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This role will involve performing routine clinical and clerical tasks under the direction of a physician or other healthcare professionals.
Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000 per yearKey Responsibilities:
- Taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and preparing patients for examination
- Drawing blood, processing prescription refills, and assisting with minor procedures as directed by a physician or health practitioner
- Administering medications as directed by a physician or health practitioner
- Phlebotomy and EKG
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements:
- Certification in Medical Assisting (NHA, NCCT, AMT, AAMA, NCMA, AMCA, AECA, or NAHP)
- At least 6 months of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
