Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified Surgical First Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, assisting primary surgeons during surgical procedures and developing nursing care plans for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist primary surgeons during surgical procedures
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain a safe and clean operating environment
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure and completion of a State-approved RNFA program
- Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR)
- Minimum 24 months of preoperative experience, both scrubbing and circulating
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
