Job Title: Surgery Scheduler

The Surgery Scheduler plays a crucial role in our medical office by scheduling and coordinating patient surgeries. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate patient surgeries
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Prepare patient charts and obtain necessary signatures
• Communicate with patients regarding their surgical appointments and testing
• Work with physicians to accommodate other patients and fill OR schedule

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two years of work experience in a medical office setting with medical receptionist or surgical scheduling experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable

Working Conditions:

• Monday-Friday, Day Shift
• Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
