Job Summary
Job Overview :
Develops, implements and evaluates programs for orientation, competency assessment, training and continuing education for all levels of staff in the Med/Surg Cardiac Units. Provides support for clinical practice at point of care. Role models patient care practices through direct patient care.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing required
- Master s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of three years experience in perinatal nursing ,
- Knowledge of principles of adult learning,
- Experience using an electronic health record, preferably Epic,
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
- Competent in use of all Microsoft Office applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- AHA BLS and ACLS Provider required
- NRP and STABLE certifications require
- National Nursing Certification, If not certified at time of hire, expectation to receive certification within one year of hire
- Current New Jersey RN license
Schedule requirements :
Day shift 40 hours per week
