Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care MICU and CCU for Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master's preferred
- Current New Jersey RN Licensure
- BLS required. (American Heart Association)
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required
- ICU nursing experience required with focus on Cardiac Critical Care
Scheduling Requirements :
- Full Time 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
- Accountability and supervision for staff that includes RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries for a 30 bed MICU and CCU highly acute medical/surgical unit and other healthcare providers who deliver care to patients in the inpatient setting.
- Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the Unit
- An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ New Brunswick
- Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care
- This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
