Job Overview:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, facilitate the monthly closing process and generate timely internal reports. They will track and process expense reimbursements for employees and monitor department budgets.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- 4 Years of Accounting/Finance Experience
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS & pivot tables
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft and Strata
Essential Functions:
- Assists the AVP of Finance in the preparation of financial and statistical reports.
- Provide financial analysis, planning & forecasting which may include consolidation of financial data from various sources, analyzing current and past financial/ data & performance.
- Translate complex financial data into an understandable format for a variety of audiences.
- Develop and timely maintain schedules of operating expenses, capital, and FTEs.
- Build complex financial models and /or forecasting, benchmarking and process analysis.
- Extract data from various systems on a recurring basis and analyze for accuracy.
- Assist in the review of General Ledger activity on a monthly basis for accuracy.
- Assist in the annual budget process and collection and validation of data.
- Completes special projects, ad hoc requests and other duties as assigned.
