Nursing Faculty (RN), Trinitas School of Nursing

Job Overview: Trinitas School of Nursing and Union College conduct a Cooperative Program which grants the students a Diploma in Nursing from Trinitas School of Nursing and an Associate in Science Degree from Union College. Trinitas School of Nursing is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Nursing Education, Inc. and the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.

Qualifications: 

• New Jersey RN License is required
• MA or MS in Nursing is required; Doctorate preferred
• Two (2) years of patient care experience is required
• Two (2) years of nursing education experience required; waived for MSN, Doctorate or Education Degree holders
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Certified Nurse Educator Clinical (CNE cl) preferred
• CNE certificate required within 5 years of hire

Essential Functions: Seeking faculty to teach Nursing Fundamentals and similar early education Nursing classes. Responsibilities include clinical and classroom teaching, test and curriculum development, faculty committee support, and student advisement. Continuing education and development to attain or maintain nurse educator competencies are expected. Serves as a role model for professional nursing and adheres to the Faculty Code of Conduct.
