What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Technician position at Barnabas Health?
Job Overview:
Provides age appropriate direct patient care. Assumes responsibility for surgical instruments during operative procedures in the Labor & Delivery suite. Participates in maintaining an adequately supplied delivery room and labor room. Assists in transferring patients when necessary. Participates in unit Quality Improvement activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate from a certified Scrub Technician program
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Certified surgical technologist
Scheduling Requirements:
- Days; 6:30am-7:30pm
- FT
