Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced RN for our PAT at Community Medical Center.
Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state's newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County's largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.
Qualifications:
Required:
- RN Degree
- NJ RN License
- Critical Care or acute care or PAT experience
- BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
- BSN
Scheduling Requirements:
Per Diem
Essential Functions:
- The RN is a direct patient caregiver for our patients having procedures scheduled and needing pre op testing and clearance
- Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
- Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient's care
- PAT is open Monday-Friday
