What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrator position at Barnacle Parking?
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Sales Administrator to join our dynamic and growing team! This position will perform an array of functions that combine administrative tasks with direct sales efforts, supporting fellow sales team(s) and team members, while also generating and meeting your own sales objectives. We are looking for someone organized and ambitious to join our team and grow professionally!
Essential Job Functions:
- Building and maintaining relationships with prospective customers, including Universities, Property Managers, Municipalities, Hospitals, Parking Companies and other private operators;
- Work with Account Managers to generate new business and expand existing customer usage;
- Ensure coordinated communications, support sales plan objectives and organizational requirements;
- Building, maintaining, and reporting on a sales pipeline;
- Actively engaging in sales calls, presentations, negotiations, and conferences;
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
- Optimize sales processes and workflows;
- Manage sales process through Salesforce CRM;
- Maintain and update sales and customer records;
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- CRM Experience – ideally SalesForce
- Motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in sales a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be necessary from time to time
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, view a computer monitor, and type (up to 8 hours a day)
- Occasional travel requirements
Schedule Expectations:
Full Time: This position requires a minimum of 40 hours worked within a week and the schedule may be flexible as determined in the employee handbook. As long as performance expectations are met, salaried employees may flex his or her schedule, subject to preapproval of one’s direct supervisor.
