Job Summary :
The Education Program of Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach EDUC BC3089 Senior Research Seminar during the Spring 2025 semester. This is a 4-credit thesis seminar for senior year Education Studies majors only, taught once a week for 2 hours.
Job Description :
Applicants should have expertise in teaching and advising seniors developing their theses, as summarized here :
This is the second semester of a year-long senior capstone experience for Education Studies majors. Over the course of the year, students will design and carry out an inquiry project, and will report on this project through an appropriate medium, for a specific purpose and audience.
- In addition to instructional responsibilities, this position requires availability for weekly student office hours.
There may be additional instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities, determined by the Program Chair.
