Graduate Assistant - Communications & Digital Citizenship (Spring 2025 Semester)
Job Summary :
The Graduate Assistant - Communications & Digital Citizenship will join a team of professional staff and students to support and further the mission of the of office. The GA will work closely with the Chief of Staff on communications including a community of practice for students on digital citizenship.
Must make a commitment to work, on average, 10 hours of work a week, with time off for Winter. This position is for 2024-25 Academic Year- Spring 2025 semester.

Job Description :
The Graduate Assistant working with the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion will be responsible for the following :
- Research on DEI in higher education
- Write materials to support DEI at Barnard
- Engage with faculty, staff and students on DEI matters via consultations, workshops and facilitated discussions
- Support and lead sessions for cohorts of students through communities of practice
- Support DEI logistical needs
- Attend staff meetings
- Maintain / update the DEI partner database
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements :
Pay Rate : $30 / hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
