Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold fine dining standards by presenting drinks in an appealing manner and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service, including checking identification for age verification.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential.
